Join Courageous Recovery Inc. in its mission to promote a mental wellness movement by advancing education, advocating nationally, and eliminating stigma surrounding mental illness.
Our goal for 2015-2016 is to send Carol on a 12-city speaking tour, presenting at mental health conferences and events and the audiences who need to hear her story of hope, recovery and sustained wellness, yet do not have the funds for a professional speaker. There are countless non-profit organizations across the country, doing wonderful work, on shoestring budgets. They would love to have Carol present at their conferences.
Carol will not be taking any speaking fee; all donations/sponsorships will be used for her travel expenses. Carol works tirelessly to overcome the stigma and misrepresentations that still surround disorders of the mind. She is a passionate advocate for those suffering from depression and mental illness. Carol is a gifted and memorable speaker whose professional, polished presentations raise awareness of mental health issues, help remove the stigma and instill hope in those who live with these disorders.
